The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is operating special buses for the mega mass event of the state for Krishna Pushkaralu 2016. The primary bus station centered for the Krishna Pushkaralu 2016 would be Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MBGS) Hyderabad and Mahabubnagar Bus Station (MBS). While few other bus stations and depots which would be operating buses for the Krishna Pushkaralu 2016 are Achampet Bus Station, Jadcherla Bus Station, Shadnagar Bus Station, Kalwakurthy Bus Station, Gadwal Bus Station, Jadcherla Bus Station, Nagar Kurnool Bus, Wanaparthy Bus Station and all other major district bus depots and stations.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will run 1100 buses including 320 special buses to Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar districts where the main Krishna Pushkaram ghats will be arranged by the state government, TSRTC-Hyderabad Zone Executive Director D Venu said.

Hyderabad city: The Telangana State RTC has decided to run 400 special bus services from Hyderabad city to Krishna Pushkaralu. Speaking to the media here today, Rangareddy Distrit regional manager Gangadhar said the Corporation would run special buses from 13 selected places across the Twin Cities.

The buses will be run from LB Nagar, Dilsukhnagar and IS Sadan to Srisailam after every hour.

From KPHB, Kukatpally, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, Telephone Bhavan to Srisailam a bus for every hour via MGBS.

Gangadhar said that the RTC will run buses from ECIL and Hubsiguda to Krishna pushkaralu depending upon rush. He also said that the Corporation will ply the buses for every 10 minutes a bus from MGBS.

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC)  is operating special buses for the mega mass event of the state. APSRTC officials said that as many as 2,700 bus services would be introduced to and from Vijayawada, Guntur and Kurnool.

The buses from Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam and Nuzivid would be halted at YV Rao Estate. Buses from East and West Godavari districts would be stopped at NTR Health University.

Buses coming from Machilipatnam, Gudivada, Avanigadda and other areas on that route to Vijayawada would be halted at the at Siddhartha Engineering College. At the same time the buses reach from Hyderabad and Jaggayyapet side to Vijayawada would be halted at Zakir Hussain College Grounds. Buses from Mylavaram and Tiruvur would halt at VTPS ?A? Colony Grounds.

The buses reaching Guntur from four Rayalaseema districts — Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur, and also from Nellore and Prakasam districts would diverted to Mahapushkara Nagar at Gorantla in Guntur via Perecherla. All these buses would have the board as Amara-vati, but none of them would allowed to reach Amaravati directly.

On the other hand, buses on route to Guntur from the districts including Prakasam, Nellore and Rayalaseema with the board as Undavalli  Aims. They would be halted at Kolanukonda on the National Highway. Buses coming with the name of Undavalli would not be allowed to enter the Guntur city and reach Kolanukonda directly from the National Highway.

Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) has decided to extend a hassle-free pilgrimage to devotees who plan to visit temples on the auspicious period. The corporation announced Karthika Masam Tours Packages 2015 from November 12 to December 10 for pilgrims and tourists who wish to visit various Lord Shiva temples in the State. The Satavahana region tour would cover Vemulawada Kondagattu – Dharmapuri is a part of Karimnagar tourism.

The tariff for this one-day package tour by non-ac hi-tech or non-ac mini bus (only transportation) is Rs 1,000 for adult and Rs 800 for children. The bus departs at 6 am from CRO/Basheerbagh and 6.15 am from IRO, Yatri Nivas and return to Hyderabad at 8 pm. The Kakatiya region tour would cover Kaleshwaram- Rammappa (Warangal Tourism)-1000 Pillar Temple Yadagirigutta – Keeseragutta. The three-day tour by non-ac hi-tech or non-ac mini bus departs from IRO Yatri Nivas at 9 pm, CRO-Basheerbagh at 9.30pm.

The bus would return to Hyderabad on the second day at 9 pm. The Pancharam tour would cover Amaravati-Pallakollu-Bhimavaram -Draskharamam – Samarlakota. The bus would depart IRO Yatri Nivas at 9 pm, CRO-Basheerbagh at 9.30pm. It would arrive at Amaravati at 5 am and return to Hyderabad by 7 pm. The added attractions of the package are the weekend single-day Vanabhojana tours to Vikarabad, Pochampally and Shamirpet.

The tariff for one-day package tours for Pochampally and Shamirpet, by non-ac hi-tech bus, including transportation, lunch and snacks is Rs 480 for adults and Rs 390 for children. The bus departs at 8.30 am from CRO/Basheerbagh and return to Hyderabad at 6.30 pm from Pochampally and 4 pm from Shamirpet. The tariff for one-day package tours for Vikarabad, with transportation, lunch and snacks is Rs 650 for adults and Rs 520 for children.

Bathukamma food festival awards 2015

Later, he gave away the Bathukamma food festival awards to participating hotels under different categories. In the five-star hotel category, Taj Krishna won the first prize followed by Ella Hotels (second ) and Marigold (third).

The participants of Telangana Food Festival held during Bathukamma festival will be awarded prizes on Monday. The TSTDC (Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation) Chairman Pervaram Ramulu will be felicitating the winners in a programme to be held at Haritha Plaza.

Various restaurants and food joints in the State capital took part in the event and served delicacies of the region. A committee consisting of TSTDC senior officers and representatives of Hotels Association visited the stalls and tasted the food on offer.
