Nalgonda Tourism: In what will surely an attraction, a ropeway will be in place across the Bhongir Fort that will showcase its rich heritage for tourists to wish to witness the marvel. The Bhongir Fort is located at Nalgonda district, which shows the heritage of Telangana tourism.

The initiative would be taken up by Tribal Welfare Department and to add to the excitement, a budget of Rs. 50 crore was being allocated to make the fort a centre for adventure sports with rock-climbing and mountaineering to train those aspiring to scale Mount Everest, said Tourism and Tribal Welfare Minister Ajmeera Chandulal.
Located between Orugallu and Golkonda forts, it has immense historical significance, he said at a review with senior officials.
A press release said that spread over 40 acres, the rock walls and sculptured pillars and artistic structural engineering had always been an attraction and government has plans to set up a knowledge centre, museum, parks, sound and laser shows, with the fort as the centre.
New and novel activities apart, government is also keen on protecting the environment and conserve the grandeur of monuments and places of historical importance, Mr. Chandulal stated.here
